ReplyDeleteLet there be known that there's nothing wrong with tracing - I think it helps a lot of starter artists out. But if nothing is learned from it, and/or the 'art' is passed on as the person's own work, then there lie the issues.
I'd advise against tracing at all. It seems to be too tempting for tracers to take full credit for their drawings rather than admit that they can't actually draw that well.
